Hi,
my name is Rosalia, I’m a passionate CMF (Color, Material, and Finishing) designer with a diverse background spanning the automotive, consumer electronics, and soft goods industries. My journey began as an Industrial Designer and Design Researcher, where I developed a strong foundation in understanding the intersection of user experience, functionality, and aesthetics. Over time, my focus evolved, and I transitioned into CMF design, where I found my true calling: shaping the emotional and sensory experience of products through color, material, and texture.
I’m deeply fascinated by emerging design trends and the way social shifts influence the way we interact with the world. By keeping a finger on the pulse of these movements, I craft product experiences that resonate on a personal level, making them more desirable and meaningful. Whether it’s a sleek automotive interior or the feel of a cutting-edge consumer gadget, I see each design challenge as an opportunity to tell a story through the tactile and visual elements of a product.
Empathy is at the core of my design philosophy. I’ve always been the kind of person who steps into others' shoes, seeking to understand not just how people use products, but how they feel when they engage with them. I believe great design isn’t just about creating something functional; it’s about creating a connection, an experience that elevates people's lives in subtle, yet significant ways.
My approach to CMF design is playful, human-centered, and story-driven. I’m fascinated by how materials and textures can bring a narrative to life—whether it’s evoking a sense of luxury, comfort, or innovation. I feel a deep responsibility as a designer to bring people closer together, to spark joy, and to make the world a little more delightful, one product at a time.
